Canix is located in San Francisco and builds Cannabis inventory tracking software to accompany Metrc track and trace. We currently serve clients across the country and focus on cultivators, manufacturer, and distributors. We service both small and large operations with software and consulting services. We launched with our first customers in Michigan in 2020 and are continuing to grow our footprint into additional inventory requirements.

We've launched a leaflink integration and are building additional software features specific to the needs to LARA and Metrc in Michigan including additional testing requirements. Ask our salesman about the labeling features we now provide.

The Michigan Regulation and Taxation of Marihuana Act was passed in 2018 legalizing adult-use. Medical use was legalized in 2008 through the Michigan Compassionate Care Initiative.

Michigan Track and Trace: The Michigan Marijuana Regulatory Agency (MRA) uses Metrc as the state wide monitoring system for tracking cannabis inventory and verification under the Medical Marihuana Facilities Licensing Act, Marihuana Tracking Act, and Michigan Regulation and Taxation of Marihuana Act.

Michigan also has a social equity program to foster inclusion of people from communities that have been significantly impacted by marijuana prohibition and enforcement. The MRTMA administers this program with the purpose of positive community impact.
