This bulletin provides information on the latest enhancements to CCTT-Metrc, which will become effective on May 1, 2020. The enhancements focus on new Cultivation functionality that enables licensees to split plantings from an immature plant batch, create packages of clones from an immature plant batch or a flowering plant, and create plantings from a package of clones. Detailed descriptions of each change are provided below.
Split Plantings from an Immature Plant Batch
Cultivators and Microbusinesses licensed to perform cultivation activities are able to split plantings from an existing immature plant batch into a new immature plant batch with a new Plant Tag UID. A Split Plantings button has been added to the Immature plants page as shown in Figure 1 below.

When the button is selected, the Split Plantings action window displays as shown in Figure 2. After the fields are populated and the Split Plantings button is selected, the new immature plant batch will be created and the number of plants in the source batch is reduced by the number of plants moved to the new batch.

Licensees can also utilize CSV upload or API to split plantings from an existing immature plant batch. Please reference the guidance included on the Split Plantings tab on the Data Importpage for CSV uploads. Data Integration partners have received a bulletin on the API changes.
Create Package of Clones from an Immature Plant Batch
Cultivators and Microbusinesses licensed to perform cultivation activities are able to create packages of clones (cuttings or tissue cultures) from a mother plant tracked in an immature plant batch. A Package from Mother Plant checkbox has been added to the Create Immature Plants Packages page as shown in Figure 3 below. When the checkbox is selected, a package of clones is created and the plant count in the immature plant batch is not reduced. Licensees should take care to specify an Item in the Clone - Cutting or Clone - Tissue Culture Item Categories.

Licensees can also utilize CSV upload or API to create packages of clones from a mother plant tracked in an immature plant batch. Please reference the guidance added to the Packages From Mother Plant tab on the Data Import page for CSV upload. Data Integration partners have received a bulletin on the API changes.
Create Package of Clones from a Flowering Plant
Cultivators and Microbusinesses licensed to perform cultivation activities are able to create packages of clones (cuttings or tissue cultures) from a mother plant tracked as a flowering plant. A Create Immature Plants Packages button has been added to the Flowering plants page as shown in Figure 4 below.

When the button is selected, the Create Immature Plants Packages action window displays as shown in Figure 5. Clone should be selected in the Plants Type dropdown. After the fields are completed and the Create Packages button is selected, the package of clones is created and the mother plant continues to be tracked on the Flowering plants page. Licensees should take care to specify an Item in the Clone - Cutting or Clone - Tissue Culture Item Categories.

Licensees can also utilize CSV upload or API to create packages of clones from a mother plant tracked as a flowering plant. Please reference the guidance added to the Package Planting From Plant tab on the Data Import page for CSV upload. Data Integration partners have received a bulletin on the API changes.
Create Planting from a Package of Clones
Cultivators and Microbusinesses licensed to perform cultivation activities are able to create plantings from a package of clones (cuttings or tissue cultures) by using the Create Plantings from Packages action window shown in Figure 6 below.
The Create Plantings from Packages action window can be accessed by selecting the Create Plantings button on the Packages page. Clone should be selected in the Plants Type dropdown. After the fields are completed and the Create Plantings button is selected, the immature plant batch is created and the number of clones in the package is reduced by the number of plants in the new batch.
