When it comes to the cannabis industry, keeping track of inventory is crucial. Canix offers several different package statuses to help you manage your inventory effectively. Understanding what each status means and how it affects your operation is essential to streamline your processes and improve efficiency.

One of the key benefits of Canix is the flexibility it offers to customize your solution to your operation. With Canix, you can set the status of each package based on its current state, ensuring accurate and up-to-date inventory management.

For example, the "In Progress" status is used for packages that are still being worked on. They can be split, combined, and adjusted, but they cannot be added to a sales order or a transfer. If you're working on a package and it's not yet ready to be sold or transferred, you'll want to set its status to "In Progress."

"Available to Sell" is the least restrictive package status. Packages with this status can be split, combined, and adjusted, and they can also be added to sales orders and transfers. If you have a package that's ready to be sold, you'll want to set its status to "Available to Sell."

"In Quarantine" is a status that's used for packages that need to be held for some reason. Packages with this status cannot be split, combined, or adjusted, and they cannot be added to a sales order or a transfer. If you have a package that needs to be held for any reason, set its status to "In Quarantine."

"Allocated" is a status that's used for packages that have been added to a sales order. These packages cannot be added to another sales order or a transfer, and they cannot be split or combined. If you have a package that's been allocated to a sales order, its status will automatically be set to "Allocated."

"Transferred" is a status that's used for packages that have been added to a transfer. These packages cannot be added to another transfer or a sales order, and they cannot be split or combined. If you have a package that's been transferred to another location, its status will automatically be set to "Transferred."

"Finished" is a status that's used for packages that have been deactivated. These packages cannot be added to a sales order, a transfer, or another package. If you have a package that's been deactivated, its status will automatically be set to "Finished."

"Inactive" is a status that's used for packages that are no longer active. These packages cannot be added to a sales order, a transfer, or another package. If you have a package that's no longer active, its status will automatically be set to "Inactive."

Canix's inventory management solution gives you the flexibility to customize your package statuses to your operation's unique needs. By understanding the different package statuses in Canix, you can better manage your inventory and streamline your processes to ensure your operation's success.
