Using this feature you can both destroy both the plant and create waste.

Creating Plant Waste

Steps: From the Mobile Application

  • Plants > Create Plant Waste

  • Select Plants By: Tag or Filter

  • Tag - Scan individual tagged plants
  • Select the RED circle with WHITE plus
  • Scan the Metrc Barcode or Type the Plant Tag number 
  • If only entering plant waste for one plant, Select +Add Single Plant. If you are entering plant waste for multiple plants, continue adding plants by Selecting, Add Plant and Scan Another until all are listed. Note: Selecting the trash can next to the plant removes it from the list and further action
  • Select Enter Plant Waste Details
  • Create Plant Waste, by completing all required fields:Disposal Method, Weight, Unit of Measure, Reason, Note, and Date. **Note: Selecting the toggle switch tells Canix to Destroy the Waste AND the Plant. ** Select, Create Waste for # of Plants
  • CSV Sent via Email window will appear for you to confirm if you have received the email containing the CSV file needed to submit to Metrc. Select Done or Re-send, if necessary.

OR

  • Filter - Filter Plants by Room, Batch, or Strain
  • Select the Plant(s) from the list or by filtering the results for the Plant(s) you are entering waste for, and Select Enter Plant Waste Details
  • Create Plant Waste, by completing all required fields:Disposal Method, Weight, Unit of Measure, Reason, Note, and Date. **Note: Selecting the toggle switch tells Canix to Destroy the Waste AND the Plant. ** Select, Create Waste for # of Plants
    • CSV Sent via Email window will appear for you to confirm if you have received the email containing the CSV file needed to submit to Metrc. Select Done or Re-send, if necessary.
